The fee that is returned to the pool acts as the earnings from the Liquidity Providers. This fee is distributed among the Liquidity Providers in relation to their ownership share of the pool.

Fee structure for liquidity provision:

When providing liquidity in one currency, an underlying swap is automatically made by the system to convert half of the supplied amount to the corresponding second currency of the pool. Thus, supplying liquidity in one currency costs a fee.
