Disabling two-factor authentication

You can remove the extra layer of security both for logging in and for withdrawals by disabling two-factor authenticator (2FA). Once 2FA has been disabled for authorization, a login-password pair is sufficient to access an account. In addition, if a user disables 2FA for withdrawal, the transaction only requires an e-mail confirmation to be processed. This article provides a stepwise how-to on disabling 2FA for both cases.

Disable 2FA for Authorization

1. Sign in to https://nimera.exchange ;

2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner of the page, choose SECURITY;

3. Select 2FA FOR AUTHORIZATION tab;

4. Press the DISABLE button

5. Type in your Nimera Multibroker account password, and the corresponding 2FA code. Press DISABLE.

6. The start page to set up 2FA for authorization shows up which means the 2FA is disabled.


Disable 2FA for Withdrawal

1. Sign in to https://nimera.exchange ;

2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner of the page, choose SECURITY;

3. Select 2FA FOR WITHDRAWAL tab;

4. Press the RESET 2FA button. A pop-up window will appear notifying about the necessity to check the associated mailbox for a confirmation link.

5. Chech your mailbox for the message from [email protected]. open it, then find and click/tap RESET 2FA button.

6. You will be redirected to a special page to reset 2FA for withdrawal operations. There, enter the corresponding Google Authenticator code.

7. If the code is entered correctly, you will see the notification on the screen.

You have successfully disabled 2FA.
